Blake Shelton “Doing It To Country Songs” CMT Music Awards Video: Watch Oak Ridge Boys Duet Performance!

Blake Shelton performed “Doing It To Country Songs” with The Oak Ridge Boys at Sunday’s 2016 CMT Music Awards. Check out the video below!
“Doing It To Country Songs” is the 12th song featured on Shelton’s new album, If I’m Honest. As Extreme Entertainment has reported, the record just came out late last month. And on the CMT Awards red carpet, the guys in The Oak Ridge Boys shared how honored they were when Shelton asked to collaborate.
And that flattery continued when Shelton invited the veteran performers to share the stage with him at the CMT Music Awards. As for the song’s title, the group was asked about the suggestive wording on the red carpet. “Where’s your mind at, girl?” the quartet amusingly replied.
In addition to performing, Shelton attended tonight’s CMT ceremony as a nominee for Video of the Year, Male Video of the Year, and Social Superstar, the last of which he won. The video nods were both for “Sangria,” which is from Shelton’s previous album, Bringing Up The Sunshine. Among his competitors in the Video of the Year category is Carrie Underwood, and “The Voice” coach actually upset her fans last month.
As Extreme Entertainment reported, Underwood supporters didn’t seem to realize Shelton was joking when he cracked that her nominated song, “Smoke Break,” promotes smoking. Whether that affected fan voting for either star, though, is really unknown. Watch full video of Shelton’s CMT Music Awards performance below!
