In honor of Christina Aguilera going red,Gossip Cop takes a look other stars who embraced a dramatic hair color change. Several stars, including Blake Lively,Rihanna and Rachel McAdams, have dyed their hair red.
Aguilera debuted her new look on Monday night on Instagram. The singer sported a deep and bold red that looked great on her long locks, which paired well with her signature red lips. Her fans flooded her page with comments praising her new look, including messages like, “I loooove this hair!!!!!!” and “This color was made for u.”
Like Aguilera, many celebrities have gone red and looked ravishing. Fellow chart-topper Rihanna has rocked red numerous times throughout her career, opting for different looks. In 2011, Blake Lively switched out her signature blonde hair for rouge, giving the actress a striking new appearance. Rachel McAdams also went from blonde to red in 2013, looking quite fetch.
January Jones similarly took the color plunge in 2015, walking the red carpet at a screening of “Mad Men” with a matching red head. “Sex and the City” fans might have thought Cynthia Nixon’s hair was red, but the actress is actually a natural blonde, who dyed it to play the part of Miranda Hobbs. And in 2010, Eva Longoria debuted a bold red hue, which was a major change from her usual brunette hair.
