Celebrities Pay Tribute To Prince On Birthday – See Stars Tweets

Celebrities are honoring Prince on what would have been the late musician’s 58th birthday by tweeting tributes to the singer. See the stars’ tweets below.
As Extreme Entertainment reported, Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton dubbed June 7 as “Prince Day” to remember the legendary singer who died of an opioid overdose at his Paisley Park estate on April 21. To celebrate, Ellen DeGeneres posted a photo of Prince visiting her talk show, along with the caption, “Today is Prince’s birthday. I loved him and still love him. #PrinceDay.”
Jennifer Hudson wrote, “Remembering a legend on his bday! Happy birthday prince! Let’s go crazy!!!” Meanwhile, Alicia Keys said, “Happy Birthday, Prince! The one and only. Thinking of you today,” and included a link to a video of her performing a Prince tribute at New York’s Highline Ballroom just a day after his passing.
Samuel L. Jackson expressed, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY PURPLE MAJESTY!! Shout Prince out y’all!!” And Lenny Kravitz posted a photo of himself performing alongside Prince at Paisley Park, adding, “Happy Birthday Big Brother.” As Extreme Entertainment also noted earlier, Chris Evans, Cindy Crawford, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Kit Harington and more celebrities performed Prince’s songs in honor of the musicians birthday.
