Chris Brown and Paris Jackson are NOT dating, despite a report. Extreme Entertainment can exclusively correct the story, which was sensationally based off a single tweet that made no mention of a relationship.
MediaTakeOut exclaims in a headline, “Michael Jackson’s Daughter Has A BIG CRUSH On Chris Brown… And It Looks Like… They COULD BE DATING!!!!!!” The accompanying story states, “Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris could have a new man in her life — CHRIS BROWN. Paris has been a huge fan of Chris Brown, ever since she was a child. But now she’s not (legally) a child anymore — Paris turned 18 on April 3.”
“And this weekend she was caught trying to holla at Chris Breezy on Twitter,” continues the site. “They were both in Virginia, and she wanted to meet up. She even called him ‘boo.'” So, what did Jackson’s tweet actually say? “@chrisbrown i’m out in VA boo hmu!”
Scandalous, we know. But Jackson telling Brown to her hit up was enough for MediaFakeOut to make the leap to “dating.” And not only is that the wrong conclusion, but the webloid is also mistaken when it says “both” were in Virginia last weekend.
Brown has actually been overseas for the European leg of his “One Hell Of A Nite Tour.” He wasn’t in the U.S. at the time of Jackson’s tweet on Saturday, much less in his home state. Still, Extreme Entertainment investigated anyway, and we’re exclusively told it’s “not true” Brown and Jackson are dating.
Michael Jackson’s daughter also took to Twitter herself to hit back at the speculation. “Do people not realize ‘boo’ is a term of endearment for friends and doesn’t always have to be used in a flirty way,” she wrote. The teen added to a follower, “People be tryna start rumors about me and breezy lmao… No one can be just friends these days in eyes of the media it’s just sad.” Indeed.
