Chris Evans Wizard World “Panic Attack” Claim False

Chris Evans did NOT have a “panic attack” at the Wizard World convention this weekend, despite a report. Extreme Entertainment can help correct this claim.
Evans attended the Wizard World comic-con event in Philadelphia on Saturday, joined by a number of fellow Marvel stars. In addition to participating in a panel about Captain America, the actor was also involved with meet and greets, posing for photos with fans. And that seems to be where the “panic attack” allegation started.
A Twitter user posted on Sunday night that there was a “crazy fan who tried kiss chris evans and when he denied she got mad and lead him to panic attack.” Others repeated the claim, though no one seemed to have any evidence. And that’s because it never happened.
Evans set the record straight early Monday, tweeting, “Where did these stories from wizard world start?? Definitely not true. There was no kissing. No panic. All news to me. The weekend was GREAT.”
Among the other stars in attendance were Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Sebastian Stan, and Anthony Mackie. And as far as Extreme Entertainment can tell, all appeared at the convention without incident. Evans is pictured above on stage for the Captain America Q&A
