The 2016 CMT Music Awards take place on Wednesday, and Extreme Entertainment has a live stream!
Erin Andrews is back as host of the CMTs for the second year in a row. But stepping in for Brittany Snow is J.J. Watt, marking the NFL star’s first big gig as an emcee. Together he and Andrews will oversee the ceremony from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.
This marks the 15th year of the CMT Awards, which was the very first fan-voted awards show for country music. Carrie Underwood has been the big winner for the last four years, taking home Video of the Year. She’s again nominated for that honor tonight, and she’ll hit the stage for a performance, too.
Other performers will include Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Cam, Keith Urban, Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line, Little Big Town, Thomas Rhett, Chris Stapleton, Dierks Bentley, Billy Ray Cyrus, Cassadee Pope and Brett Eldredge. In addition, Kelsea Ballerini, Cole Swindell, Dan + Shay, Charles Kelley, and Kellie Pickler have all signed on to be presenters.
There will be some Hollywood faces, too, with Vince Vaughn delivering one of the honors as well.
