The 2016 CMT Music Awards kick off on Wednesday with an online-only pre-show, and Extreme Entertainment has a live a stream of the red carpet!
Outside the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, stars ranging from Carrie Underwood to Blake Shelton will pose for the cameras. But in addition to getting a sneak peek at all the glam arrivals, viewers will also get to watch on-the-spot interviews. And it will be extra jam-packed, as the pre-show special has expanded this year from one hour to two.
The excitement should be off the charts as everyone gears up to watch more than 10 superstar performances. Along with Underwood and Shelton, country music’s biggest names will be hitting the stage. That includes Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Little Big Town, and Dierks Bentley.
There will even be some surprising collaborations. Little Big Town is teaming up with Pharrell, while Cam has partnered with Fifth Harmony. Pitbull is even on board for a joint performance with Cassadee Pope and Leona Lewis.
Erin Andrews and J.J. Watts will co-host the star-studded ceremony, but it’s all starting on the red carpet. And that’s actually pink this year! The festivities are slated to begin at 6 p.m. Eastern. Stay tuned for the live stream!
