Kim Kardashian: Kanye West Will “Make Up” Canceled Pop-Up Show

Kim Kardashian says Kanye West will “make up” his canceled pop-up show.
On Sunday, West was slated to headline at the Governors Ball Music Festival, but the show was scrapped due to bad weather. He then announced he would perform around 2 a.m. Monday at Manhattan’s Webster Hall. But thousands of people showed up, turning the streets of New York City into chaos.
The last-minute event was ultimately shut down by police who deemed the situation unsafe. Following the cancellation, though, fans didn’t disperse, and the atmosphere turned riotous. Kardashian was with West as it all went down, and spoke out on his behalf later Monday morning.
Along with a photo showing a massive crowd on a city block, the reality star wrote, “Last night was crazy! Kanye wished he could have performed last night!!!” She went on, “He really tried so hard but it was ultimately out of his control! He has the best fans in the whole world! Thank you all for coming out at 2am. Promise he will make up this pop up show.”
West hasn’t commented, but joined Kardashian in announcing his Yeezy Season 2 zine and shoes were now for sale online. The couple may remain in New York to attend the 2016 CFDA Awards on Monday night.
