Luke Bryan performed an outdoor concert in the rain on Friday’s “Today.” Check out the video below!
The country star performed “Huntin’, Fishin’ And Lovin’ Every Day,” “Strip It Down,” “I Don’t Want This Night to End,” and “Play It Again” for the “Citi Concert Series.” The singer packed in quite the crowd at Rockefeller Plaza, which is situated just outside the morning show’s studio in New York City. The concert series will continue to draw big crowds this summer with upcoming performances by Meghan Trainor, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Celine Dion, Blake Shelton, Jessica Simpson, Shawn Mendes, Rachel Platten, and DNCE. Next week, Nick Jonas will take the stage.
Bryan is currently in the midst of his Kill The Lights tour. On Thursday night, he performed in Holmdel, New Jersey. And following his Friday morning show, the country star will take the stage yet again, performing a show in Atlantic City. The singer’s lengthy tour has dates planned through October.
As Extreme Entertainment reported, in April Bryan co-hosted the 2016 ACMs with fellow country superstar Dierks Bentley. The singer was also awarded the Country Artist of the Year at the iHeartRadio Music Awards the same month. In May, the accolades continued at Billboard Music Awards, where he took home the honor of Top Country Artist. Watch Bryan’s “Today” performances below!
