Nina Dobrev is NOT “heartbroken” over Austin Stowell supposedly dating Emma Stone, despite a baseless claim. Extreme Entertainment can easily bust this story. As we’ve already exclusively reported, Stowell and Stone are NOT dating.
“Nina Dobrev Heartbroken: Ex-Boyfriend Austin Stowell Dating Emma Stone, Battle of the Sexes Co-Star,” reads a headline from Celeb Dirty Laundry. The webloid dramatically asks in the accompanying story, “Is this latest round of the Hollywood game of ‘Who is Dating Who?’ causing Nina unbearable heartbreak and considering a return to ‘The Vampire Diaries’ to hide the pain?”
CDL then babbles on about Stone and Dobrev’s respective dating histories. The site acknowledges it doesn’t know for sure if Stone and Stowell are actually dating, but nevertheless declares her to be a “step up” from Dobrev. The mean-spirited story goes on to mock Dobrev for being a “D-list television star.”
But it’s Celeb Dirty Laundry that deserves to be mocked. Stowell and Stone are not in a relationship, as Extreme Entertainment confirmed last week. Dobrev is not “heartbroken” over a non-existent romance. The outlet just ran a purely speculative, not to mention cruel, report based on an entirely false premise.
And it’s not the first time CDL has wrongly gone after Dobrev, either. Extreme Entertainment previously called out the webloid for claiming she was “cozying up” to Norman Reedus for a role on “The Walking Dead.” That was after we busted several ridiculous stories about Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, and Nikki Reed. It’s time for Celeb Dirty Laundry to give it a rest.
