Prince Birthday – Fans Honor Late Singer

Prince would have turned 58 on Tuesday, and fans of the late singer are honoring the music legend on his birthday. See Twitter tributes and reactions below.
As Extreme Entertainment reported, the singer died of an opioid overdose on April 21 at his Paisley Park estate. On Monday, Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton declared June 7 as “Prince Day.” And earlier, stars such as Chris Evans, Cindy Crawford, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Kit Harington and more celebrities performed Prince’s songs in newly-released videos.
On social media, many of the Purple One’s fans honored the late musician with tweets. Twitter user @M_Petals wrote, “#PrinceDay #PrinceBirthday we were so lucky to had him, now God is the lucky one.” A person with the handle @noonelikeher shared, “Happy Birthday Beautiful One. #PrinceDay #PrinceBirthday.” And some fans, like @CoachV_VCU, donned the singer’s trademark color. “Celebrating #PrinceBirthday with @CoachKarenBlair in all purple! #PurpleRain Rest in Peace to one of the greatest!” she wrote.
A fan named @MoFoSays tried to remain upbeat despite the loss, noting, “Prince would want us Jammin’ on #PrinceDay #PrinceBirthday.” A person named @leoaul simply shared, “Purple rain in heaven #PrinceBirthday #PrinceDay.” Meanwhile, other fans like @sherilynch were still in a bit of shock about his death, expressing, “Still not believing it – how can he be gone #PrinceBirthday #PrinceDay.”
And a fan with the handle @lisacole327 sent a message to the late singer, writing,”@prince hope u aren’t RIP, but dancing your ass off pain free in heaven #prince #PrinceBirthday.” In addition to theses tweets, there were hundreds of more fans who honored Prince’s birthday on social media.
