As Extreme Entertainment reported, the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Festival kicked off on Friday. Hosted once again by Ryan Seacrest, the first night of the star-studded event featured performances from Drake, U2, Miley Cyrus, Sia, OneRepublic and more. The festivities continued on Saturday with Hailee Steinfeld and others performing at the Daytime Village.
But it was back to the main stage on Saturday night for performances from Ariana Grande, Sting, Florida Georgia Line, Pitbull and Zedd, among others. Of course, Spears spends many weekends performing at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas for her “Piece of Me” residency. For this special show, though, she traveled to nearby Paradise to join all the top celebrities at the T-Mobile Arena.
Spears kicked off her performance with “Work Bitch,” followed up by “Womanizer,” and then “I’m A Slave 4 U.” Other classics included “Toxic,” “Stronger,” and “(You Drive Me) Crazy.” She also sang “Do You Wanna Come Over?” and “Make Me,” which are off the pop star’s album Glory that just came out last month. The record marked Spears’ first since 2013’sBritney Jean.
Spears’ other career highlights this year include her return to the MTV Video Music Awards stage in August after a nine-year absence, and receiving the Millennium Award at May’s Billboard Music Awards. It should be announced in the coming weeks if she’ll be attending November’s American Music Awards, too. Check out the video below of Spears’ iHeartRadio Music Festival performance.
