Justin Theroux “The Girl On The Train” Interview On ‘Today’ Show – WATCH VIDEO

Justin Theroux appeared on Thursday’s “Today” show to discuss his latest movie,The Girl On The Train. Watch below!
Based on the best-selling novel of the same name, the thriller stars Emily Blunt as a depressed alcoholic who becomes obsessed with the couple she watches through a train window. Theroux plays her ex-husband, who can’t seem to escape her disturbing drama. On the morning talk show, Matt Lauer began the chat by saying how well Theroux plays “creepy.”
Theroux didn’t seem sure how to take the odd compliment, but replied, “If I am doing a part that’s creepy, I guess — and I play a lot of creeps sometimes — I guess that’s a good thing, because it means, I guess, I’m doing my job well?” Later on, the actor was taken aback by another description Lauer offered up: “Ken Doll.”
That remark was in praise of Theroux’s ability to be successful doing different things. The actor noted, “When I choose roles or projects to work on that someone has told me are smart to do or things that are good to do, I usually don’t enjoy myself as much as when I find something that I just love doing.”
As for The Girl On The Train, Theroux told Lauer, “It was very faithfully adapted. The direction is fantastic. And we were really mobbed up with a lot of very, very good actors. So we can only hope we do service to the book and honor what the author had in mind.” Check out the full interview below.
