In a boxing fight that clearly seemed to be in favor ofManny Pacquiao over his challenger Timothy Bradley, somehow or another the judges gave the match to Bradley, setting off a firestorm of complaints from celebs on Twitter.
Moments after the bout on Saturday night at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Khloe Kardashian tweeted, “The stats don’t add up to the decision made. This is crazy! Can I really get my money back now?”
She went on to write, “When Bradley checks the tape…. And sees what we all saw… Will he give the belt to Pac?”
Justin Timberlake said, “I cannot believe what I just saw… Please tell me they read that decision wrong… #Rigged,” adding, “Boxing was RUINED tonight for me.”
His fiancee Jessica Biel also chimed in: “What a joke! I can’t believe they gave it to Bradley.”
Wilmer Valderrama griped, “WHAT!? BRADLEY!? …decisions like THIS that made boxing fans like US stop tuning in.”
Elizabeth Banks wrote, “So I take it Manny Pacquiao got robbed. #RIPBoxing.”
Lil Wayne simply exclaimed, “WHAT!?!”
Eliza Dushku felt the same way. She wrote, “Wow. Fight was rigged. Bogus.”
Boxing champ Lennox Lewis was equally stunned.
He tweeted, “Whaoh! Travesty!” and felt, “This is another stain on boxing.”
“I don’t care what the judges said, @MannyPacquiao totally deserved to win that fight. The #PacMan is The Ultimate Champ! Love him!” weighed in Paris Hilton.
Kim Kardashian added, “How is this even legal???!!! Seems so fixed! Pacquiao deserves that belt!”
She further joked, “Whoever bet on Bradley last night got super rich! LOL.”
