Nicole Scherzinger is officially joining “The X Factor” in the UK — months after being dumped by the American version of the show.
The long-speculated replacement of Kelly Rowland with Scherzinger on the judges’ panel was confirmed by the show on Friday.
The former Pussycat Dolls member previously served as a guest judge on the British competition series before becoming part of the U.S. show in its inaugural season.
Scherzinger posted her reaction to Friday’s news on Twitter.
“I’m so excited to join the UK X Factor family,” she wrote.
Scherzinger added, “It’s where I got my start, so it feels great to come full circle. I can’t wait to see what talent the UK has to offer and to help inspire and bring out the best in these artists.”
