Conan O’Brien extended his well wishes to Jimmy Fallon after it was confirmed on Wednesday that Fallonwill replace Jay Leno on “The Tonight Show” in 2014.

O’Brien said on his TBS show last night, “I want to congratulate Jimmy,” adding, “That is a really fun gig.”
The statement drew laughter from the audience as the comedian famously held the position for less than a year in 2009 before NBC brought back Leno.
“He is going to do a fantastic job… Jimmy is the perfect guy to do it,” added the O’Brien.
