As condolences continue to pour for James Gandolfini who passed away on Wednesday, planning is also underway for a star-studded tribute at the original Bada Bing!
RumorFix has just learned exclusively that the Statin Dolls strip club in Lodi, NJ (a.k.a. The Original Bada Bing Club) is already putting the wheels in motion for a massive tribute to the iconic Tony Soprano star.
“It’s going to be BIG,” says Bill Pepe, manager of Satin Dolls. Bill tells RumorFix that the Bada Bing will be reaching out to HBO about the tribute which will take place in the “very near future,” and will involve as many of Gondolfini’s Sopranos co-stars as possible.
Bill says that news of James Gandolfini’s death came as a total shock and compares it to losing a family member.
Gandolfini and the rest of the HBO cast and crew were fixtures in the club during filming of theSopranos which lasted from 1998 through 2007.
