An up and coming hip hop star was gunned down on Thursday morning reportedly over a $100 dice game, RumorFix has learned.
Lil Snupe, whose real name is Addaren Ross, was killed around 4:07 a.m. at the Maplewood Apartments in Winnfield, Lousiana — the victim of two gunshot wounds, police tell RumorFix.
Snupe, who just turned 18 a couple days ago, was declared dead at the scene.
The teenager’s manager, Leem 7st, confirmed the reports on Twitter writing, “The call I got this morning is un real RIP 2 my Lil n—a lilsnupe.”
Meek Mill, who signed the Louisiana native to his Dream Chaser album, wrote, “R.I.P 2 my lil f–king n—a #lilsnupe I tried everything in my power 2 get that kid out of the streets!”
Police say they have a person of interest, but are not naming their suspect. They say a motive has not been established yet.
