Last Wednesday Extreme Entertainment reported that the stress of being on tour wasn’t taking too kindly to Selena Gomez, and now the starlet has confirmed she’ll be taking a long break from the singing

During a press conference for The Getaway, Gomez told the media that “this is my last record for a while. I’m going to tour it and then I’m going to just kind of get into acting for a really long period of time, hopefully.”

And although she sounds quite certain, Sel added, “I’m a woman so I change my mind all the time.”
After all, Selena’s career did take off from an acting gig with Disney in 2007 when she starred in her own show Wizards of Waverly Place.
