Kristin Cavallari was pulled over, escorted to a police station and forced to post bail on Friday — all because she was driving in Chicago with a California license.
The former reality star tweeted after the incident, “Who knew having a California drivers license in Illinois was a CRIME… what a morning.”
Cavallari was initially stopped for speeding before police learned she didn’t have a valid Illinios license.
She had to pay a $120 citation.
A source close to the situation tells Extreme Entertainment, “She still lives in L.A. and Nashville so she can’t have 3 licenses.”
Cavallari goes back and forth between L.A. and Chicago as her husband Jay Cutler plays for the Chicago Bears.
Sounds like a very frustrating Friday for the star.
