Leah Remini: Church Of Scientology Is Looking At Me To Fail On DWTS

Leah Remini made allegations on Monday night’s episode of Dancing With The Stars that the Church of Scientology is rooting for her to fail on the popular ABC program.
43-year-old Remini – who left the controversial church in July after over 30 years as a member – told partner Tony Dovolani on camera during one of their rehearsals that “the church is looking at me to fail so they can say to their parishioners ‘you see what happens when you leave the church?’  It’s like they’re waiting for me to fail.”

Her partner Tony was part of her narrative, telling the camera “Leah’s really hard on herself.  I knew this summer she had a difficult experience, but to the degree that it was going to affect her, I had no idea.”
The former King of Queens star also said “I was always so scared to be myself. We’re used to everything that happens to us being our fault, we’re used to taking a lot of negativity on ourselves.”
Extreme Entertainment has contacted the Church of Scientology who told us ”we know this may come as a surprise to someone as self-absorbed as Ms. Remini, but we could care less if she wins or loses on Dancing With The Stars.”
The judges aren’t rooting for her to fail though.  She got solid 8′s across the board for her Monday night Samba performance and is moving ahead to next week.
