Brittany Murphy’s father Angelo Bertolotti appeared on Tuesday’s “Good Morning America,” where he explained his suspicions that his daughter was poisoned and murdered.
“I have a feeling there was definitely a murder situation here,” says Bertolotti, who fought for years to have new lab testing done on his daughter’s blood, hair and tissue after authorities ruledher 2009 death the result of “natural causes” linked to pneumonia and anemia.
He adds, “It’s poison, yes, yes, I know that.”
Murphy’s husband, Simon Monjack, mysteriously died five months after she did, adding to her family’s suspicions of foul play.
