Kris Jenner Breaks Down Over Talk Show, Family Goes “Alien Hunting” on KUWTK

Sunday’s “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” focused on both Kris Jenner’s talk show, and a family road trip to go “alien hunting.”
The episode begins with Kris preparing for her debut, and getting advice from her longtime friend Kathie Lee Gifford.

Kris is nervous about her new daytime show but says, “I want to give 150 percent to make my dream come true.”
But after the show’s first taping, Khloe and especially Kourtney Kardashian, who were in the audience, express their concern that their mom is going to focus too much of the program on the family.
Two weeks later, Kris takes Khloe, Kourtney and Scott Disick out to dinner, during which they admit they haven’t watched the show since its premiere, and the matriarch is visibly saddened.
Khloe tries to convince Kourtney to criticize her mom less, because she knows how much Kris “wants to share that dream with us.”
And part of that dream is to get Kim Kardashian, who just had a baby, to appear via a video.
Even though Kim admits, “My gut’s telling don’t do it,” she ultimately makes the “surprise” appearance on “Kris.”
And, of course, in addition to Khloe guest hosting twice, Scott hosting once, Kendall and Kylie Jenner doing a fashion show on the daytime program, Kanye West taped the finale, where he talked about fatherhood and his love for Kim.
Kris later says how touched she was that her kids ultimately went “beyond” for her.
But that’s not all that happens this week.
Bruce Jenner proposes a road trip in an RV, and along for the ride are Brody and Brandon Jenner, Kylie and Kendall, Khloe and Rob Kardashian.
Though Bruce wanted to to go camping, Khloe reveals she has an “obsession with aliens” — as do apparently Kylie and Kendall — and announces while everyone’s on the road that she’s “hijacking” the camping trip and “we’re going alien hunting” at famed spooky spot Area 51 in Nevada.
“Are you kidding me? Aliens?” says an incredulous Bruce, who tells the camera, “Khoe has lost her mind.”
The gang then drives to an “Alien Research Center,” and even meets up with Alejandro Rojas, who’s known as a “UFO journalist,” and Travis Walton, who was allegedly abducted by aliens in 1975.
While Walton recounts his “abduction,” Bruce chimes in, “They’re actually believing this guy… Didn’t I raise these kids as sensible adults?”
To make matters more uncomfortable, Walton tells the Jenner girls, he was “disappointed” in the Olympian because he was a fan who knew all his stats and “had always admired Bruce.”
After Bruce poses for photos with Walton, he still maintains, “It’s all a bunch of BS.”
The Jenners and Kardashians finally set up camp, as originally envisioned by Bruce.
But when they hear some odd noises by a river, the group investigates and is greeted by two large “aliens” — a couple of people the Jenner boys got to scare the family.
The prank goes over well, though Kylie still believes in aliens.
One theme that begins to emerge in the episode is Khloe’s husband Lamar Odom acting erratically.
Khloe admits he’s “having a really tough time,” and that his behavior has become “weird” and that he’s gone MIA, but doesn’t specifically acknowledge the reported issues he’s allegedly having with drugs.
It seems more will be revealed in upcoming episodes, including next week’s season finale.
What did you think of Sunday’s “Keeping Up With The Kardashians”?
