Following the shooting of a TSA employee and two others at Los Angeles International Airport Friday morning, the airport sent all incoming planes to a remote strip of the airport and kept the passengers aboard while authorities searched for the gunman and secured a terminal. They also stopped all outgoing flights from taking off.
In other words, air traffic at LAX is total chaos as of mid-day Friday.
Naturally, there’s some stranded celebs stuck on the ground and planes right about now.
Dancing With The Stars host Tom Bergeron tweeted “Flew 3000 miles from NY. LAX is in shutdown. Now we’re all walking” with an accompanying photo.
James Franco was stuck aboard a plane, tweeting a photo of himself looking frustrated in his seat with the caption “At #lax. Some s** tbag shot up the place”
