Sarah Palin got into it with hecklers while leaving the “SNL 40: Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary” after-party in New York early Monday morning. Watch the video below, and tell us what you think.
The former Governor of Alaska and onetime Republican candidate for Vice President was on hand for the big gala honoring “SNL,” having been famously spoofed by Tina Fey during the 2008 election season. During the show, Palin stood up in the audience and asked Jerry Seinfeld how much he thought Lorne Michaels would pay her to run in 2016, the joke being that she’s an easy target for comedy.
But following the after-party, Palin was the one trading disses with hecklers. It’s a little hard to hear what the first heckler yells, but Palin fires back, “Are you in show business? Then don’t be jealous!” Then, as Palin poses for selfies with fans while wearing a somewhat skimpy dress in the freezing cold, someone tells her, “Put some clothes on, Sarah,” she replies, “I’m from Alaska.”
When one heckler keeps badgering her, Palin yells back, “Get a job!” The man shoots back, “What are you doing?” She replies, “Hey, I’m here [at the “SNL” party], and you’re there!” At that point, the heckler says, “Good luck in Iowa, Sarah. No one’s going to vote for you.” Watch the video below.
