Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are NOT “headed for a $150 million divorce,” despite a new National Enquirer report claiming the couple is arguing about Affleck’s workaholism and “wandering eye.” Extreme Entertainment can debunk the story.
“Rumors of a rift heated up after a flirty Oscar-night exchange between the Gone Girl hunk and his former fiancee, single-and-looking hottie Jennifer Lopez,” explains the tabloid. A so-called “insider” tells the Enquirer, “It looked as if sparks were flying. Ben’s wife definitely would not have appreciated it.”
But that’s not all, says the magazine. “Ben’s history of cheating, compulsive gambling and killer work schedule have left the [couple] struggling,” explains the Enquirer, which talks about the “rumors of marital woe” that have plagued Affleck and Garner, even those those rumors were fabricated.
A source for the outlet says of Garner, “It’s all taking a toll on her. She constantly checks in with Ben when he is gone, but that frustrates him and less to huge fights.” The Enquirerinsider adds, “They just seem very disconnected these days. If they can’t re-connect, it could mean a megamillion-dollar divorce.”
Last October, the Enquirer said Affleck and Garner were heading for a “$150 million divorce.” Back in March 2013, the tabloid claimed the couple were “locked in a bitter battle” over whether to have another child. In 2012, the outlet insisted Garner was in a “jealous rage” over Affleck keeping in touch with Lopez.
