Karrueche Tran threw a crew from Oprah’s OWN Network out of her house because they tried to “ambush her,” her rep tells Extreme Entertainment exclusively. We’re told, “They wanted to interview her and hear her story,” but quickly during the sit-down with Iyanla Vanzant, Tran began to feel she was being unfairly judged for some of the decisions she’s made, mostly those involving Chris Brown.
The model was under the impression the interview would be upbeat and allow Tran to talk about where she is these days, but Vanzant went after her with question after question about Brown, including how she could date him following his assault of Rihanna, and why she returned to him after being cheated on. There were also questions about how quickly she had sex with Brown after first meeting him. Vanzant and the OWN Network crew “attempted to ambush her,” her rep tells Extreme Entertainment.
Ultimately, Tran had enough and booted Vanzant and the OWN Network crew out of her house. After each side cooled down for around two hours, the interview resumed back in her home. The OWN Network special with Tran is slated to air later in March.
When Extreme Entertainment asked whether Tran ended up being satisfied with the interview, her rep said that it’s still to be determined since “we haven’t seen final edit yet.” Do you think the OWN Network crossed the line and Tran was right to throw them out of her house?
