Peter Facinelli And Jaimie Alexander Engaged — See Proposal Photos!

Peter Facinelli and Jaimie Alexander are engaged! A rep for the actor confirms the happy news to Extreme Entertainment.

The couple was very nearly on cloud nine when Facinelli proposed atop the Empire State Building earlier this week. The engagement comes more than two years after the pair began dating, in the wake of Facinelli’s split from Jennie Garth.

As Extreme Entertainment reported, Facinelli and Garth were together for more than 15 years and married for more than 10 when they separated in 2012. The exes have three daughters together, Luca, Lola, and Fiona. Garth was very outspoken after the breakup, indicating it was not something she wanted, though she has since moved on.

Facinelli met Alexander on the set of the film Loosies, and they later worked together on his series, “Nurse Jackie,” in which she was a guest star. This will be her first marriage. Neither has made mention of the engagement on social media yet, though Facinelli did tweet, “Had fun @empirestatebldg with @JaimieAlexander
Top of the world…,” and shared the above photo. For her part, Alexander shared a picture of them kissing (see below), and wrote, “Top of the world with my love @peterfacinelli @empirestatebldg #Love #ES.”

With “Nurse Jackie” wrapping up its final season, Facinelli is starring in the new NBC series, “American Odyssey,” which premieres in April. Meanwhile, Alexander is currently working on an NBC pilot. They’ll now also have to find some time for wedding planning. Congrats to the couple!
