Adam Levine was rushed by a fan during Maroon 5’s concert on Monday. The scary incident left the star with a cut on his ear. Watch the videos below.
Fresh off the first live episode of “The Voice,” on which he and his band performed “Sugar” (see photo right), the group traveled to Anaheim for the last North American date on their 2015 world tour. Levine was on stage at the city’s Honda Center when a fan in the front row hopped on stage and ran up to the lead singer from behind. The woman threw her arms around the unsuspecting star’s neck, and did NOT want to let go.
Levine, of course, was startled, and tried to break free, but to his credit, he then repeatedly told the fan to “calm down” and “relax,” and put his arm around her. A security guard then walked the woman off stage. The singer finished the song, and then addressed the situation.
“That was f*ckin’ weird, right?” Levine said told the crowd, revealing that the fan even cut his ear with her fingernail. He went on to say, “It’s just weird to be, like, you’re in the moment, you’re singing, and your eyes are closed, and you’re having this beautiful moment, and the next thing you know someone’s in your face.
