Jennie Garth is engaged! The actress and boyfriend Dave Abrams plan to marry, their reps have confirmed. The couple has been dating since last year. No wedding date has been revealed.
Last week, Abrams tweeted, “Happy Birthday @jenniegarth #loveumoreandmoreeachday.” He reportedly popped the question around her birthday. While Abrams and Garth have not made too many big public appearances, they’ve been spending quite a bit of time together in Los Angeles and on vacations. During a recent hike in Santa Barbara, Abrams tweeted a picture of the pair (see right), with the caption, “Our selfie game is strong.”
Garth was previously married to Peter Facinelli, with whom she has three daughters. She was linked to musician Jeremy Salken and media executive Michael Shimbo before beginning to date Abrams.
In a 2013 interview, Garth admitted that dating as a single mom was “super challenging,” but noted, “You have to find your way and stumble and make mistakes. I think that’s the only way you learn how to do it, is by making mistakes.” It sounds like it all paid off and she found the right partner. Congratulations to the newly engaged couple!
