Fergie and Josh Duhamel are NOT “on the rocks,” despite a story falsely claiming the couple is clashing over career and family issues. Extreme Entertainment can exclusively correct the report, which comes from one of the tabloids. A source close to the situation assures us the allegations are wrong.
According to OK!, Fergie’s work on her music career is “coming at the cost of her marriage,” with Duhamel “stuck at home being Mr. Mom,” and now “he’s starting to get lonely.” A so-called “insider” is quoted as saying, “Josh feels like a single parent. It’s causing tension in their marriage.”
The tabloid’s alleged source goes on to claim that Duhamel believes Fergie has become “distant,” and adds that the actor is “frustrated and just wants their family to work as a unit.”OK! even goes as far as predicting “there could be trouble ahead if she doesn’t shift her priorities soon.”
The only “trouble” here, though, is what OK! is stirring up. Extreme Entertainment checked in with an ACTUAL source close to the couple, and we’re told the claims about Fergie and Duhamel being “on the rocks” are flat-out untrue. Furthermore, Duhamel spoke just last week about his devotion to Fergie, his willingness to follow her on tour, and how “proud” he is of her new music. That sounds like the opposite of career and family issues to us.
