Calvin Harris In Car Crash

Calvin Harris was in a car crash in Los Angeles on Friday night, when the vehicle he was riding in was struck by another car.
The deejay was traveling as a passenger in a Cadillac SUV when the incident occurred around 11 p.m. local time. A Volkswagen Bug driven by a 16-year-old allegedly crossed the center line, and collided with Harris’ vehicle. He was taken to the hospital via ambulance.
But despite suffering a laceration to his face, he reportedly opted to leave the hospital against medical advice when he was told a private room wasn’t available. A statement on Harris’ Facebook page acknowledges the accident, but does not detail his injuries. It reads, “Adam’s transport was involved in a collision this evening on the way to the airport. As a result he will be unable to perform at Omnia tonight. He has been examined by doctors and told to rest for a few days.”
Adam, of course, is Harris’ birth name. He has a residency at Omnia nightclub in Las Vegas. And, unfortunately, people were already at the venue waiting for him to show up. It’s unknown at this point if other dates in the coming weeks will be affected, but Harris’ scheduled appearance at an Alabama festival on Saturday night has been canceled.

As for the other vehicle, a teen riding on the lap of one of the passengers was actually ejected from the Bug and reportedly suffered a broken pelvis. It’s unclear if any citations will be issued.
