The Kardashian sisters tried to deal with Rob’s new relationship with their former friend Blac Chyna on Sunday’s “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.” Get the full recap below!
Kim told Khloe and Kourtney that Rob had abruptly put her on the phone with Chyna without warning her. “I just told him that I’ll talk to her when I’m ready,” Kim noted, but said that Rob put her on speaker anyway. Kim further revealed that she “froze and hung up” after Chyna said ‘Hi!’ in the background. “I just wasn’t ready and I’m not going to be forced to be on the phone with her.” She explained in a confessional, “I understand that Kylie dating Tyga completely broke Chyna’s heart. I feel for her in that situation,” further noting that although Chyna was her friend, “I had no choice but to take my sister’s side.” But Kim admitted she’s willing to “sit down and work it out,” adding, “I’ll talk to her when I’m ready.”
Kim and Kanye West had been staying with Kris while their home was being renovated, and Kris got annoyed with her daughter because someone had scratched up her driveway. “I can barely believe that Kim and Kanye are still living with me,” Kris said in a confessional. “There are major boundaries that are not being observed. So I’m done.” But Kim countered, “My mom is insane. She won’t let anyone drive on the driveway.” Kim then discovered that Chyna had bashed Kylie on Instagram over her online show “Cooking with Kylie,” because Chyna felt she stole her cooking show idea. “The fact that my brother would allow his girlfriend to talk bad about his little sister publicly is so not cool,” Kim said on camera.
Kim later told Khloe that she discovered her room in Kris’s house had been emptied. “All the furniture has been moved out,” Kim told her sister. “Mom gave it to Rob. And I was like, ‘Um excuse me? Are you gonna tell me that you’ve emptied out my room?’ And then Kanye walks in and goes, ‘Ok. It’s very clear she wants us to leave.’” Kim further said in a confessional she understands Kris is getting frustrated with her and Kanye living there, but argued, “We have six weeks left… She pretty much kicked her daughter out of her room. She could have waited a few more weeks.” Kim then told Khloe that Kris claimed the furniture she removed from Kim’s room belonged to Rob, but Khloe shot back, “That’s not true. She just lies and lies and lies.”
Kourtney took Kris out to lunch to distract her while Kim brought moving trucks to Kris’s house so she could surprise her mom and have all of her stuff moved out by the time she got home. “I will definitely show her who the queen of surprises is,” Kim said in a confessional about her abruptly moving out. Kris was shocked when she got home and discovered that all of Kim’s stuff was gone, and was ecstatic that she finally had her house to herself again.
Kris told Kourtney her feelings were hurt by an Instagram video Rob had made in which he makes fun of the healthy food she bought him. Kim said in a confessional, “My mom literally just helped him move into a new house… There’s no way I’m gonna let my brother disrespect her,” and then called up her brother to reprimand him. Kim said to Rob on the phone, “I never get pissed and I’m so for you being happy, but whatever Chyna and Kylie and all the drama that they have together, that’s for them to work out. Mom has bent over backwards doing all this stuff. Mom is pissed.”
Kim went on to admonish Rob for “publicly bashing” Kris and Kylie, saying, “That’s not cool… This is not what our family does. There’s way too much drama. So many haters in the world, we don’t need it from our own inside circle.” Rob could be heard saying on the other end of the phone, “I didn’t even know it was going on, first of all, and I don’t even think it was that serious.” But an angry Kim continued, “Everyone has to just not be blasting people on social media. You [and Chyna] are a unit now, and so it looks like you’re blasting mom, and it’s petty as f*ck.” She added, “I just want everyone to be respectful… The social media part makes everyone look bad, especially you.” Rob insisted he “didn’t mean to hurt anybody” and loves Chyna, but doesn’t want to fight with his family. “We’ll go about it differently,” he promised, to which Kim responded, “I hope so… I love you.”
Rob then visited Kris at her house to apologize, but also to clarify he wasn’t trying to make fun of her in his Snapchat videos, and insisted he appreciated her helping him move into his house. “I get that you have this crazy sense of humor, but sometimes I just need to be reminded,” she told him. The two then hugged and made up.
