Beyonce Backup Dancers Get Engaged On Concert Stage (VIDEO)

Two of Beyonce’s backup dancers became engaged during a “Formation World Tour” concert on Saturday. Watch below!
The show was held at The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis. The night’s set list included Beyonce’s monster hit, “Single Ladies.” But she stopped performing midway through the song for an on-stage proposal.
She handed the microphone to dancer John Silver, who then went over to dance captain Ashley Everett. He told the crowd, “I feel like it’s only right to come out here in my hometown and show you guys the epitome of a young woman that knows how to deal with all the nonsense and the B.S. of a St. Louis [n-word].” Silver went on to ask, “What better time than now?”
And with that, Silver dropped to one knee and proposed, asking, “Will you marry me?” Everett, of course, said yes, and the crowd of thousands went wild. An amusing moment followed, when Beyonce walked up to the couple to congratulate them, only to then immediately back up so as not to intrude while Silver literally put a ring on it. There was a group hug after, though, and “Single Ladies” resumed playing.
Beyonce then said to a shocked and shaken Everett, “Let’s see if you can do the choreography after that!” It took a second, but the newly-engaged dancer did get back in formation. Check out the full video below!
