Does Josh Brolin have “cold feet” over his wedding? A report claims he may not marry fiancée Kathryn Boyd. Extreme Entertainment looked into the story, which comes from one of the tabloids.
“No Marriage For Old Man?” asks a headline in the pages of Star. Noting that Brolin proposed “nearly 16 months ago,” the magazine writes, “With no wedding date in sight, friends fear the No Country For Old Menstar has come down with a case of cold feet.” A so-called “source” is quoted as saying, “They talked about getting married over the holidays last year, but it didn’t come to pass.”
“The timing never seems right for Josh, to the point where his friends are asking, ‘Do you really want this?'” claims the supposed snitch. The alleged tipster goes on to tell the outlet, “Frankly, I think Josh is afraid he’s going to screw it up. Being engaged is easy, but marriage is hard work.”
Of course, not all engaged couples make it down the aisle, so there’s no guarantee Brolin and Boyd will indeed wed. But plenty of people have long engagements, and the actor needn’t fit his nuptials into some timeline ordained by a tabloid and its “source.” Extreme Entertainment is exclusively told by a rep that Brolin and Boyd are simply moving at their own pace, and are quite happy with their current status.
In fact, one only needs to look at Brolin’s Instagram to see how committed he remains to Boyd, whom he posts photos of almost every day. Boyd even celebrated with a bachelorette party earlier this year, using the hashtag, “#jbkbstucktogether.” Brolin doesn’t have “cold feet.” He’s just living life on his own terms.
