Justin Bieber is NOT “hungry to headline the halftime show” at this year’s Super Bowl, despite a new report.Extreme Entertainment can exclusively debunk this inaccurate claim. We’re told it’s “not true.”
According to National Enquirer, Bieber is supposedly desperate to be “taken seriously” within the music industry and feels performing at the Super Bowl would be a step in that direction. A so-called “insider” tells the tabloid that Bieber believes he would “do an amazing job” at the NFL championship game, and his halftime show would be in the “same league as Madonna, Katy Perry and Beyonce.” However, the magazine’s alleged “source” claims the “only problem is “no one will return [his camp’s] calls,” because the NFL reportedly has “zero interest in him” or in feeding “his ego.”
The publication, however, has fumbled once again. For starters, as Extreme Entertainment recently reported, Lady Gaga is set to perform the Super Bowl’s halftime show this year. Additionally, Bieber has not angled at all to sing at the Super Bowl. A rep for Bieber assures Extreme Entertainment the claim is “complete BS.”
Of course, we are not surprised by the magazine’s false claim. Extreme Entertainment has repeatedly busted the National Enquirer for a slew of absurd stories about the singer, including thatBieber got a height machine to make him taller and was recently hooking up with Rihanna. Much like those inaccurate articles, this new one about the Super Bowl is also untrue and can be punted.
