Sofia Vergaraappears in a number of commercials these days, so it was amusing to see “Saturday Night Live” do a sketch in which she and “Penelope Cruz” (played by new cast member Kate McKinnon) film a Pantene shampoo spot.
The joke is that Vergara gets all of the easy script lines, while Cruz has to struggle through over-the-top scientific jargon.
