Since at least three out of four American Idol judges are being replaced for Season 13 (Keith Urban’s fate is still up in the air), we asked some Idol finalists from Season 12 to weigh in.
Lazaro Arbos was the first to speak up. He said Lady Gaga would be his dream judge.
Aubrey Cleland, who RumorFix caught up with at AT&T’s Live Proud event in Hollywood on Wednesday night, said, “I think someone who’s been a contestant before and who’s very successful now because they’ve been in the shoes of the contestant.” Lazaro and fellow finalist Paul Jolley agreed.
So here are their picks:
- Aubrey: Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson and Adam Lambert.
- Paul: Jennifer Hudson and Kelly Clarkson
- Lazaro: Jennifer Hudson
Last year when rumors spread that Adam was up for the judging position, he said, “I would jump at the chance.” When we caught up with him this week and posed the same question, he answered, “I feel the same.”
