The Baltimore Ravens have terminated Ray Rice’s contract.
A onetime star running back, Rice beat his now-wifeJanay Palmer in a casino elevator back in February, and was subsequently suspended for only two games amid uproar that the punishment was too light.
On Monday, video of his attack on Palmer was leaked by TMZ.
Hours later, the team tweeted, “The #Ravens have terminated RB Ray Rice’s contract this afternoon.”
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell then announced that the league was suspending Rice indefinitely.
Seth Rogen called Rice a “piece of garbage”on Monday.
Watching the video, it’s hard to disagree.
The Ravens finally acted.
