Diana Ros is not “bankrolling” Ashlee Simpson’s lavish lifestyle, despite a new report that claims the singer is sick of her sonEvan Ross’ new wife looking for “handouts.”Extreme Entertainment can bust this ridiculous story, which originated in OK!, an outlet that has previously printed false speculation about Ross’ relationship with the Simpson family.
According to the tabloid story, Simpson got “tired” of asking her sister Jessica Simpsonfor money, so she turned to her husband’s mom. The outlet claims Ashlee is “pushing her luck” because it really “bugs” Diana that Ashlee is “freeloading.” A so-called “source” alleges in the magazine that the newlyweds ask for “tens of thousands at a time,” even though Diana has already given them “cars, a down payment on a house and a stock portfolio.” This supposed “insider” goes on to claim in the magazine that Diana really likes Ashlee, but thinks she’s a “spoiled princess.”
Granted, this is the same tabloid that falsely reported Jessica Simpson refused to be photographed with Diana at Ashlee and Evan’s wedding in August because the singer didn’t attend her nuptials the month before. The magazine has also repeatedly published factually inaccurate stories about Ashlee and Jessica being at war over their respective weddings. When it comes to the Ross and Simpson families,OK! seems to fabricate drama and feuds that simply do not exist. Regardless, a rep for Ross says the OK! story is absolutely not true.
