Nick Gordon is taking his quest to visit Bobbi Kristina Brown public. As Extreme Entertainment has reported, Brown has been in a medically-induced coma and on a ventilator at an Atlanta hospital for nearly three weeks, during which time her family has allegedly prevented Gordon from seeing her. In a new statement, a lawyer for Gordon says he “desperately” wants that to change.
Last week, it was falsely alleged by Brown’s cousin Jerod Brown that Gordon was taking legal action in order to gain visitation, a claim that that Gordon’s attorney denied. Now in a statement furnished to Extreme Entertainment on Wednesday evening, Gordon’s lawyer Randall Kessler says attempts at working the issue out privately have failed so far.
“Nick has been trying, privately, to do everything he can to see Bobbi Kristina cooperatively. He has respected the family’s wishes and for that reason alone has not returned to the hospital and risked a public confrontation,” says Kessler, adding, that Gordon “desperately wants to be with the one he loves and continues to hope that his request will be granted.”
As the cause of Brown’s medical crisis remains unexplained, aside from the fact that she was found unconscious and face-down in her bathtub with facial injuries, reports have claimed there is a foul play investigation targeting Gordon. Police have confirmed there is an open criminal investigation, but have not publicly named Gordon as a person of interest.
Earlier this week, RadarOnline wrongly reported that Bobby Brown planned to take his daughter off life support this week. A lawyer for Brown, however, shot down the claim, calling it “false.”
