Christina Aguilera did an amazingly spot-on impersonation of Britney Spears on Monday’s “Tonight Show.” Watch below!
The singer, who was on the show to promote the new season of “The Voice,” which, as Extreme Entertainment reported, had its season 8 premiere on Monday, joined Jimmy Fallon for a rousing game of “Wheel of Musical Impressions.” Aguilera and Fallon took turns singing classic songs in the voices of different celebrities, but none was as incredible as when the wheel landed on Spears for Aguilera.
Frequently pitted as rivals, the two pop stars’ history dates back to their days on “The Mickey Mouse Club” as kids. They are both known for their distinct voices, but Aguilera proved she could master Spears’ as well as her own when she sang “This Little Piggy” to the tune of “(Hit Me) Baby One More Time.” Aguilera, who was actually nervous before the game began, broke into laughter when she first saw she had to impersonate Spears, but went on to nail it on and blow Fallon’s mind.
The singer also had to do an impression of her Burlesque co-star Cher singing the Folgers jingle, as well as the “Golden Girls” theme song as Shakira. Check out the video below!
