“The Real Housewives of New York City” season 7 trailer premiered on Monday. Watch below!
The preview of the upcoming season gives viewers the first glimpse at Bethenny Frankel’s return. The controversial reality star left the show after 2010’s season 3 for her own spinoff, before going on to the short-lived talk show “Bethenny.” She repeatedly lied last year, denying she would be returning to “Housewives,” until the official announcement was made last October.
In the trailer, Frankel is seen crying over her divorce from Jason Hoppy, and telling her therapist, “It’s like starting over. Failed talk show, failed marriage.” She later cries, saying, “I don’t want the same life back, I just want a new life.” Ramona Singer cries, too, over her own split from husband Mario after 22 years of marriage, and the pair sob together in one emotional scene.
Frankel and Singer are joined by fellow cast members Carole Radziwill, Heather Thomson, Kristen Taekman, Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, and Sonja Morgan. But there’s also “a new biatch in the house”: Dorinda Medley, who is a widow after her husband died three years ago. The season takes place in Manhattan, the Hamptons, and Turks and Caicos, with the women partying, fighting, and crying in all three locales. And there’s a lot of talk about sex, but we won’t spoil whose boobs and butt make a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it appearance in the sneak peek.
“Real Housewives of New York City” premieres on April 7. Check out the trailer below!
