George Clooney, Julia Roberts “Caught Cheating” Story NOT True

George Clooney and Julia Roberts were NOT “caught cheating” on their respective spouses, despite a new tabloid cover story. Extreme Entertainment can exclusively debunk the report, which we’ve confirmed is fabricated.
The new edition of the National Enquirer hit newsstands on Wednesday blaring that a “humiliated” Amal Clooney is “demanding [a] $200 million divorce” after a kiss between George and Julia “destroyed” their marriage. Of course, inside the supermarket tabloid, there’s actually a bit of a bait-and-switch.
The story says Amal and Julia are “are at each other’s throats — and their feud threatens to end in [George’s] $220 million divorce” as a “jealous” Amal has supposedly “warned ‘Pretty Woman’ Julia to keep her hands off her husband.” A so-called “source” is quoted as saying, “Amal has had enough! She’s sick and tired of watching George cozy up to Julia.”
But what about the “cheating” and “kiss” claims plastered on the magazine’s cover? Well, the supposed snitch says this: “To her, it’s cheating — emotional cheating.” Uh, okay. “Amal feels like there’s only room for one woman in George’s life — and that’s Julia,” the alleged tipster goes on, adding, “She can never compete with their long history, and now Amal wants out. She wants a divorce — and it’s going to be expensive!”
Enough with the shenanigans. There was no actual “cheating” between George and Julia, and there’s no divorce from Amal on the horizon. Furthermore, there’s no feud between the two women, either. In fact, they just held hands at the Money Monster premiere at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this month (see photo below).
A rep for Clooney exclusively tells Extreme Entertainment that he denied the tabloid’s allegations “with proof,” but the unscrupulous outlet chose to “print it anyway.” Now the spokesperson sarcastically adds that the gossip rag should “enjoy its Pulitzer.”
