Laura Bretan “American’s Got Talent” Audition Video: Mel B Uses Golden Buzzer For 13-Year-Old Opera Singer – WATCH!

Mel B used her golden buzzer for 13-year-old opera singer Laura Bretan on Tuesday’s season 11 premiere of “American’s Got Talent.” Watch below!
The shy Chicago student came on stage and admitted she was “nervous” to sing. Certainly no one was expecting a spectacular opera performance. But that’s what happened, and it led to a standing ovation from the entire panel, which left Bretan in tears.
Heidi Klum told the young teen, “You are born with such a gift. It is unbelievable. I could not stop smiling. You put me in the best mood. Wow. Loved it.”
Simon Cowell, who has always produced “AGT” but has now joined as a judge, was thoroughly in shock. “That didn’t just happen. Honest to god, you came out like a jelly. I didn’t think you’d be able to talk,” he said. “And then that just happened.”
He went on, “I have never heard anything like that in all the years that I’ve been doing this show. It was unbelievable. And what made it even better is the fact that you are such a sweet person, so humble, not even aware of how amazing you are. Thank you for coming on the show.”
Mel B noted, “You literally made all my hairs stand up on end. And you’re only 13.” She then said, “This show is going to completely change your life, and I’m gonna change your life right now.” The Spice Girls singer then hit the golden buzzer.
Like last season, that means Bretan gets to skip the next round and go right on to the live shows. Each judge can only hand out the advantage once, so you can imagine the contestant’s reaction. Check out the full video below!
