Michael Strahan is NOT writing a “$10 million tell-all” book about Kelly Ripa, despite a false tabloid cover story. Extreme Entertainment can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told it’s “not true.”
According to Star, Strahan is mulling an offer to reveal Ripa’s supposedly unscrupulous personal and professional secrets that could damage her career and reputation. A so-called “source” tells the tabloid Strahan would “relish telling his side of the story” of why he left “Live.”
The tabloid’s dubious insider further claims Strahan will open up about how the “Live” staff allegedly doesn’t like Ripa, and “how icy-cold she can be toward anyone she deems beneath her.” The magazine’s “source” goes on to say Ripa would also tell her co-host “very private, intimate stuff” about her marriage to Mark Consuelos, and Strahan plans to leak those details as well.
And finally, the outlet’s seemingly phony source alleges that Ripa mistreated Strahan during his entire tenure on the show, which is why “a tell-all would be the ultimate revenge.” The supposed insider adds, “He’s seen the worst side of Kelly, and he could blow apart her carefully constructed image and ultimately humiliate her.”
But Extreme Entertainment checked in with a source close to Strahan, who exclusively assures us “there is no offer and no book, and there are no plans for one!” We’re further told the tabloid’s tale of a tell-all is simply “not true.” In fact, Star is the same tabloid Extreme Entertainment called out earlier this month for falsely claiming Ripa was urging her celebrity friends to boycott “GMA” when Strahan joins the show. The outlet’s latest sensationalized claim about the situation between the former co-hosts is equally wrong.
