Faith Hill, Tim McGraw “Fighting For Their Marriage”?

Are Faith Hill and Tim McGraw “fighting for their marriage”? That’s one of the claims in Wednesday’s tabloids. Extreme Entertainment can exclusively set the record straight.
According to the new issue of OK!, Hill and McGraw “have hit a very rough patch” after 20 years of marriage.” But, writes the magazine, “instead of hunkering down for a $135 million divorce, the couple is clinging to their marriage with the force of a country ballad.” How so?
“Faith is a big believer in counseling and said they need to make it a priority if they are going to stay together as a family,” a so-called “insider” is quoted as saying. The supposed source goes on, “When they fight outside the therapist’s office, it’s World War III. They need counseling to keep calm and respectful.”
That said, the tipster conveniently insists a split isn’t on the horizon. “For the sake of their children and everything they’ve been through over the past two decades, they’re doing whatever they can to make it work,” alleges the outlet’s snitch. But Extreme Entertainment can reveal what’s really going on here.
OK! is doing damage control for its sister publication. Star has spent years wrongly claiming Hill and McGraw are divorcing (see below). The last such report came less than two months ago, when the magazine falsely wrote about a looming “$135 million” divorce.
Now here is OK!, regurgitating some of the same allegations, but using the therapy and counseling claims as an explanation for why the couple is still together. In other words, one outlet is attempting to clean up the other’s mistakes. But none of it is true.
Hill and McGraw were never on the verge of divorcing, so they are not “fighting for their marriage” now. A rep for the couple exclusively tells Extreme Entertainment this new story is “untrue,” just like the previous ones.
