Taylor Swift, Calvin Harris Split NOT Because Of Marriage Pressure

Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris did not split because she was pressuring him to get married, despite a report from one of the tabloids. Extreme Entertainment can correct this claim.
According to In Touch, Swift was “caught completely off guard” when Harris ended their 15-month relationship. A so-called “friend of Calvin’s” is quoted as saying, “They had been talking marriage for a while and were even planning to wed this summer. But that was part of the problem.”
“He felt like they were rushing into things and was concerned by how fast Taylor was moving,” continues the supposed source. “He had no other option but to say goodbye.” But In Touch is conveniently leaving out a key detail.
It was the magazine that claimed Swift and Harris were getting married. In fact, last November, the outlet said the now-exes were going to have not one, but two weddings in 2016. But the story was rooted in fiction, not fact.
And now the tabloid is trying to do damage control by insisting nuptials were in the works, but Harris got cold feet. Not quite. Swift and Harris were never “planning to wed this summer,” and such pressure to do so had nothing to do with their breakup.
Swift and Harris called it quits after it became clear their romance had run its course. That’s it. Extreme Entertainment already debunked a report that falsely claimed Harris had been shopping for engagement rings prior to the split. This marriage and wedding claim is untrue, too.
