Josh Brolin married Kathryn Boyd in North Carolina on Saturday, Extreme Entertainment confirms. Their wedding comes two weeks after we corrected an inaccurate report that alleged the actor had “cold feet.”
While details are sparse about the private wedding, what we do know is Brolin and Boyd exchanged vows before a small group of friends and family. There were reports that in attendance were a number of stars, including Bradley Cooper and Matt Damon, but that’s not true.
The newlyweds began dating in 2014. News of their relationship first came to light when they were spotted in Rome kissing. And a year later, Brolin popped the question to Boyd. This is the third marriage for the actor. He was first wed to Alice Adair, with whom he has two grown children. He later wed Diane Lane in 200,4 but their marriage ended in late 2013.
As Extreme Entertainment noted above, earlier this month Star magazine falsely claimed “the No Country For Old Men star has come down with a case of cold feet.” The tabloid then quoted one of its fake or ill-informed sources as saying, “Josh is afraid he’s going to screw it up. Being engaged is easy, but marriage is hard work.” At the time, a rep for the actor exclusively told Extreme Entertainment Brolin was moving the wedding plans to Boyd along at his own pace.
Of course, it’s clear now Boyd and Brolin had pretty much finalized their wedding when the tabloid wrongly reported he had “cold feet.” In any event, Extreme Entertainment would like to wish Brolin and his new bride many years of health, happiness and love together.
