“I want to apologize to everybody for the wrong that I’ve done,” Deen tells the camera. “I want to learn and grow from this.”
She adds, “Inappropriate, hurtful language is totally, totally unacceptable.”
Deen then begs for forgiveness.
Earlier on Friday, Deen bailed on the “Today Show” at the last minute.
In a longer, second apology video, Deen talks about why she skipped the show — and declares that she and her family are not the type of people the media portrays them as being.
